These are W filifera or filibusta I believe (seeds sold as Mediterranean Fan Palm which I am fairly sure is incorrect.  They are about 14 months from seed and were outside this Fall and we had record rainfall.  I noticed they were yellowing about 3-4 weeks ago.  Figuring they may be in need of fertilizer I added about 2 tablespoons to each plant.  I have not been watering much lately since it's been fairly cool.  Anyone have any words of wisdom or suggestions?  Maybe its just from the colder temps?  We did see 23F a few weeks back.

Thanks,

Mike

Same thing has happened to my filibusta - it might have been brought on by the cold and/or record rain but I think it's just normal dying of the older leaves.  We also had record rainfall in Sept and Oct but only made it down to 27°F, but I had superficial leaf damage to several palms due to the drastic temp change in early Nov rather than the temp itself.
