There's going to be some hell to pay this summer. Those missing monsters did provide some canopy.

BUT changes provide additional opportunities to cater to my palmy addiction . . . . .

Alas, mostly no. That summer sun is going to burn straight overhead, and a few lovely babies in there are likely to get toasted. But, now I have a gap to fill, and I'm sure some of you all will have some great suggestions, aside from plants I've used elsewhere, though I'm leaning on a teddy bear or such-like.

You can easily incorporate shade structures with all the palms you have in place.

Firewood.

I’m keeping the trunk pieces for handicrafts and firewood; the leaves and infructescenses got chopped up and tossed in the Dumpsters of Doom. It took me about eight hours of work to do it; i needed the exercise.

No, but tons of A. tuckeri and alexandrae

ESPECIALLY tuckeri, which, along with the Chambeyronias, make up the bulk of the skyline in the picture above.

I've done the exact opposite. I've planted  2 Caryota gigas. Hehehehe. Grow grow grow!
