Roystonea regia, Royal Palm Seedlings

Recommended Posts

My gorgeous Roystonea regia mother palm has 100s of seedlings germinating beneath her. Some people consider the royal palm to be the most beautiful palm in the world. Given lots of sun, heat and water, these palms grow fast and get huge: 50-70' tall and up to 3' in diameter. Their gray/white trunks look like pillars of concrete and their fronds can weigh 50lbs. Royal seeds germinate readily given warmth and moisture. Royals are hardy to zone 9b, though they suffer cosmetic damage at temps below freezing. But their fast-growing habit allows them to recover quickly once warm temps return. Photos 1-2 show seedlings, photo 3-4 are of my mother palm. Palms will be sent via Priority Mail

Roystonea regia: 50 strap leaf seedlings = $20.00 for the lot

Shipping = $10.00   Seedlings will be sent without pot and soil with roots wrapped in damp orchid moss, clear wrap & foil

Total = $30.00       Payment via Paypal

No shipping overseas. No shipping to HI.

Please PM me if you are interested

That listing is old and I can’t keep to those prices. See quote below:

Roystonea regia seedlings (2-3) leaves: $1.00 per plant.      Minimum order: 25 plants

Shipping via Priority Mail Flat Rate padded envelope = $12.00

Payment via check or money order. I do not take Paypal

Seedlings are older and larger than in original listing (6-12 months) but are still strap leaf.

Let me know if you are interested.

thanks and regards\\\\\\\\

None right now. I took major damage from Hurricane Ian last year. I recently yanked all volunteers as I’ve had too much going on to mess with them. Also, it is not cost effective for me to mail one or two at a time so I when I sell it’s lots only.

Whenever you do have more seedlings I too would be very interested in a lot!

Best Regards,

I don't ship palm seedlings in winter. My husband has major health issues so right now I'm his 24/7 caregiver and have been unable to do yard work. Maybe come spring we will see all our issues stabilize.
