Hi Pat, I know this post is a year old.  Did you get your windmill palm seeds?  I am in Tucker, GA and I have plenty!

How long do they normally take to germinate?

Mine took 2 months without any particular care. I placed the 50 seeds in pots outside in the spring and let mother nature do everything. I don't baby seed my seeds and am always successful.
