Archontophoenix cunninghamiana Seeds

So a few weeks ago I ordered some Archontophoenix cunninghamiana seeds from a source on Ebay based in the U.K. (they had good reviews, I did my typical "buying seeds from ebay research"). I've never grown a palm in the Archontophoenix genus before. Do these look to be Archontophoenix cunninghamiana seeds, or do they all look the same like a lot of other palms? Only one floated in water, hopefully it will sink over time, I'm letting them soak a few days, of course. Is it safe to put a floater in with the good ones in a community pot? I know it probably won't grow, but I don't want to miss the chance. Anyway, here they are, any advice or tips would be appreciated.

I've never grown that species before, but I separated Butia sp. seed floaters from those that sank and planted in separate pots.  A few of the seeds that floated did end up germinating, but some took about a year to do so.

Looks like Archontophoenix cunninghamiana seeds. If they don't pop let me know I'll send you some. They litter my lawn.

@redant Thank you! I should have asked on the forum first before I ordered some. How long do they take to germinate in a community pot outdoors?

Mine is too young to seed, but they look correct. Hope you have a high ceiling in the place you'll grow it. These things put on feet per year when they are happy.

I ordered the same seeds around a year ago and had 100% germination rate.  On the other side some other seeds had only low germination rates. The seller buys seeds from RPS

Most definitely Archontophoenix seeds. If you ever come to the Bay Area, I'll give you all you want. My trees produce buckets and buckets of them and, of course, thousands of seedlings from the seeds I don't manage to pick up.

Definitely the correct seed. You'll probably get close to 100% germination. They look good seed.

Not to long, they like warmth. 2, 3 months. they sprout all over the place for me, I mow them down there are so many. I do love the palm but they love to seed and the seeds are easy growers.
