Nice work and good patience!  Much smaller seed than Acrocomia aculeata and takes as long to germinate!  Do you think these will have similar drought/cold tolerance as A. aculeata or totai?  I'm being patient with my Syagrus campylospatha seeds after 13 months...

Occurs only in Mato Grosso do Sul , the same region of Acrocomia totai , place where there is severe frost.

Wow, 28 months, I would have given up for sure.

Never give up on Acrocomia seed. My record for prolonged germination was a seed of Acrocomia totai that popped after 5 years. It had gone from watching to waiting to forgetting to total ignore. The tag had almost faded away by the time I spotted that first leaf. I thought it was a weird weed at first.
