Mediterranean Fan Palm

I bought this nice palm today from Facebook marketplace for the low price of $60. Although I drove an hour in the pouring down rain. I feel it was a nice palm that needs some love. I assume it’s a Mediterranean Fan Palm? Anyone have any ideas how to identify?

How is the sex determined with this palm?

If you post a photo on here of the flowers when they are completely out we can tell you if it's male or female. Occasionally they can have male and female flowers on the same plant but it is unusual.
