I'm leaning towards sempervivum pacific plum fuzzy for this one

Not 100% but the second specimen looks a lot like one of the Ariocarpus -type Cactus.

They look very similar but none of the pics on the Internet show the thorns like mine has at the end of each petal??

Right.. noticed that also.. Looking around more, Another possibility might be Mammilaria magnimamma, Mexican Pincushion. That or one of the other Mammillaria sp. with spines on the ends of the Tubercles. Spiral arrangement of the Tubercles themselves might be another clue.

I think that Mammilaria magnimamma is a better fit.
