Crysophila nana

[Austinpalm]

Would love to get seeds or seedlings of this palm.  Anybody have access or suggestions on how to acquire?

Hi. Do you ever go on holidays to Mexico? There's a botanical garden in Puerto Vallarta. The forest is full of these palms and they sell them there as well. I didn't manage to get any seeds 1 month ago, it's too early. Bought a plant though.

Was going to say, yes.. the Botanical garden in Puerto Vallarta would likely be the best place to acquire this particular species.. or, seed of it ( not sure if one would be able to bring back plants from there into the states )  Wish it was more widely grown..  Needs to be.

Forgot to add:  There's a gentleman over on the Tropical Fruit Forum who lives down in Puerto Vallartia who, if i remember correctly, has distributed collected seed of a newer Garcinia Sp. ( Luc's Mexican Mangosteen / Garcinia ) to forum members on the TFF here in the states.. Might be a long shot, but he might know someone who has access to seed of this species.. or, perhaps has specimens of it himself..  Don't think it would hurt to inquire regardless..
