Garden question

Hello everyone,

So I've been working on my garden and it's coming really nice , but there's is something that bugs me the most in the garden.  I would like to cover this ( see pic) in my garden. I'm no expert ,but I'm guessing it's the water meter? Anyways my plan is  to put a potted plant in front of it to cover it so if a maintenance person ever comes out to check on it they could just move the plant out of the way to check or work on it. Of course there's no way I'm going to tamper with it being that I don't own it , such as paint it.  Any ideas on how to cover it or make it blend into my garden? Suggestions on particular potted plants that I can use cover it ?  I really hate looks of it .

Thanks guys :)

It looks like a gas meter to me. Do you have natural gas at your home?

Being muninicpity ran they would need access to it. I don’t have this, I have a propane tank (for supplement heating when it gets really cold).

Something like this would be pretty easy to construct. So long as it “opens” I wouldn’t image it being a problem. Could be a nice back drop for a pot garden.

(Image is not mine. Random google search).

I would just plant a couple bushes around it.  It's a gas meter usually they need 1 foot or more clearance to access the meter, you just trim the shrubs if needed around it.  Use the call before you dig number to see where that underground portion goes.
