One of my favorite Syagrus. It is trouble free in my beach garden. This is a group of three all planted out as strap leaved seedlings 16 years ago .

Beautiful!

Hesperia,Southern CA (High Desert area). Zone 8b

Elevation; about 3600 ft.

Lowest temp. I can expect each year 19/20*f lowest since I've been growing palms *13(2007) Hottest temp. Each year *106

I think when these get taller they look more like Cocos with very straight trunks .

definitely one of the nicest Syagarus. I have 2 and they have been ultra easy too.

Despite the age of mine there have only been a few flowering attempts that resulted in aborted premature seeds.
