Last Sunday we stopped at a Bamboo nursery after our rainforest walk. This is one of the best bamboo nurseries around, and they have some really nice specimens planted out. They also had some nice palms for sale...

WOW!  All of those boos are just spectacular.  Pic number 1 is Gigantochloa pseudoarundinacea right?  Is this in QLD?

Queensland yes, at the foot hills of Mount Tamborine. I've forgotten the bamboo names, Mike or Daryl may recall.

Hi Brian, yes you are spot-on with the ID. Nothing in these photos is over 4 years old in the ground...wish palms would grow like this!
