Mine has been in recovery mode this season, but has done so nicely. I will try to snap a picture tomorrow.

Unprotected in the deep freeze last winter. 80+hrs below freezing with an ultimate low of 10.2F completely defoliated it.

Looks great.. I'm due to update everything around here, and maybe once we get back to normal temps out of this brutal heat wave I'll have the inspiration to get out there.  Our blackburniana is recovering nicely, and moving along.  The rain chances starting back up again next week, finally (after 70+ days of no rain) will help move things along real quick.

I have several from Chris chance though still young their doing good. Those seeds were huge.  Mine from PDN is also doing good. Mine was fairly small when I got them but growing good. I'm thinking they are totally different from those from Chris.  From what research I've done but may be wrong.

My Sabal bermudana (nomen ambiguum: Sabal blackburniana) has a huge load of 'berries' developing this year. Even when they're ripe the local gray squirrels and scrub jays don't touch them for some reason. Guess they prefer peanut handouts?
