In my garden these are very attractive to caterpillars at this stage! I have to be vigilant and spray the leaves everyday until they turn green and harden off.

El Oasis - beach garden, distinct wet/dry season ,year round 20-38c

Las Heliconias - jungle garden ,800m elevation,150+ inches rainfall, year round 15-28c

I have always loved the ridges on the leaflets of this species.  Unfortunately, this is one of the Zamia species that doesn't do well in my climate.  Nice color on the emerging leaves too!
