I threw this in the ground almost 3 years ago. It was prob 2 feet tall from base then. Now it’s nearly 6 feet. Anyone out there planting these giants?

I actually plan on it, although I was planning on going the seed route. Where did you get yours?

I bought a relatively young one from PT member Carver a couple of months ago, and planted it in my only remaining "large" open area.  It hasn't moved much yet, but we went into the cold season and that spot doesn't have a lot of sun in the winter at the moment.  I'll have to trim a few philodendron trunks to get it some direct light while it's young.

Great palm!  A talipot will eventually need a 3XXL spot not just large!  Looking forward to seeing these monsters grow!

Formerly in Gilbert AZ, zone 9a/9b. Now in Palmetto, Florida Zone 9b/10a??
