Hello,

I need some advices on how to transplant Pritchardia hillebrandii in Mediterranean climate from sandy soil.

Ive heard they are not easy to transplant just like Bismarkias and other difficult transplanting palms.

I’m thinking to buy it from a farmer, if the transplantation chances are low maybe it is not a good idea?

I've heard the same things that you have. There are palm farmers on Hawaii Island who will not touch loulus because of the difficulty in transplanting. However, there are palm farmers in Florida who will, and do, transplant Bismarckias, sometimes using rather elaborate methods. So maybe someone can try it.
