No need for the pot. I have several.  Just wrap the rootball and some dirt well in a plastic bag, then box.  No worries if this seems like too much work.

If you can accept bare root shipping I have a box, and the cost would be a lot less minus the dirt weight.  Please advise !

What would be the cost to bare root ship it?  Also, do you believe it is likely to survive the transplanting?  I am guessing so, but have almost no experience with this palm.
