I've heard that these are considered by some to be a variation of C.Baileyana, but the photos I've seen show a very different looking tree. What are your opinions, I'm going to try them both but  I'm curious if the growing habits are different or if one is actually much more robust etc etc..

The bailey and fallaense are very similar and grow under the same conditions in nature.They both like regular moisture and grow at about the same speed.

The Copernicia fallaense  (or fallaensis) pictured are growing near Falla, Cuba. A nearby rice field showed the soil to be deep marl.
