Sylvester Palm Tree

If a Sylvester Palm Tree was planted too deep... raise it up will increase the shock? It was planted 4 weeks ago. And is 10 inches deep from the root to the ground level.

The top of the root ball should be slightly above ground level. If it’s not, chances are the palm will struggle. If the top of the root ball is below ground I would elevate it as soon as possible. Phoenix palms typically have aerial roots. Hundreds of them. If you don’t see any roots at the surface, it’s too deep.

@Edilene Cordova  I agree with the others.  You can usually get by with an inch or two, but 10-12" deep is asking for trouble.
