It sure has recovered nicely. It took a lot of damage from the freeze in 2018, at the time I wasn’t sure it would survive.

Granted it was dark, but everything looked pretty decent here. I was jealous of the size of the foxtail palms - if only I would get to lucky to have mine grow to that size!

The Westin is a nice hotel, I used to live on the island and had family stay there. :) 

If you have the time, you should really go to Kopsick while you're in town and see all of what St. Pete has to offer.

Has the look of a Copernicia of some sort.  Maybe alba.

I can’t point to a great nursery in Tampa, but if you want to pick up a few palms while you’re here you can try Palms Plants Pottery at 5421 W Hillsborough Ave, Tampa, FL 33634. It’s not too far from the Westin. They’re not great, but they should have royals, archontophoenix cunninghamiana, and few other species that the big box stores don’t have.
