Hi everyone,

My banana has been doing great.  It was 2’ tall this fall and now 6!  All of the leaves look healthy but they have one by one in the last couple of days bent down.  I keep the soil moist and fertilize lightly once a month.  It is also in a SW window.  Any ideas?  Does it just need more sun for its size?  I am planning on putting it in the ground in a month or so.  Thanks for the help!

Looks like it is stretching out looking for more sun.  Inside, any extra fert is just going to make it grow faster also.  Needs to go in the ground or outside asap.

Agree it's probably looking for sun so the leaves reach too far, get heavy,  and snap. Probably should get it outside. It will he happy.

Cut them off , just leave the upper 2. It will suffer less when you put it outside.
