Great new additions Justin. Looks like you went shopping at Bill’s?  I need more room for planting!

Well done Justin!

Yes, thanks Bill Austin!  I managed to unload all of these without killing myself, which I put as about a 50-50 proposition, given that we needed 3 people to load the Dypsis hovomantsiana.

No, but they're next on the "to-do" list.

The only problem is that it didn't lead to any rain.  We've had basically no rain for 2.5 weeks, and the garden needs some...bad.

I know all about those big potted Dypsis from Bill Austin!  As soon as I realized I had deep soil in parts of my yard I bought several from him and am surprised I didn’t seriously hurt my back unloading and planting them!

Nice size specimens......terrific headstart. You’re going to enjoy the selections you made, special palms indeed.

Great choices on nice sized palms is the dypsis rosea x mirabilis from the one in Jeff's garden and  are these turning out like the parent palm or does this have to be a hand pollination  ?  This would be a great palm for us in California thanks for sharing

Great progress, Justin! I am sure they will all do very well for you. B) And yes, some significant rain would indeed be good, like right about now! Unfortunately, May and June are historically our driest months, but there can be exceptions...
