Anyone growing this? Or seen it in U.S. cultivation? Only info on hardiness shows zone 10 or higher?

The brazil nut tree is quite tropical, zone 11+, so is probably too cold sensitive for the mainland US. It might survive in HI or Key West - maybe. It also gets huge, 160'+ tall and 80'+ tall so you would need quite a large property to grow it.

What the heck.....   Give it try there in Houston.  Could be tougher than thought.  Probably would not get that big in 100 years anyways.  :D

It might have survived the last two winters(low of 31*F where Im at), but I doubt long term. There’s not a whole lot of direct personal feedback so who knows.
