Hi all,

New to the forum (my first post) but have been here for awhile reading and learning.  I have a large clump of Heliconia Criswick I have been growing for about 2.5 years that finally gave me its first flower!  I started the clump from 4 rhizomes I got from Puerto Rico in 2017, and the clump is now probably 8-10 feet wide and 8-9 feet tall with dozens of individual canes.  I grow them in full, all day sun so they are shorter than they would be in shade.  With time, these bracts can get massive, over three feet in length allegedly (supposedly the largest of the Bihai x Caribaea crosses).  Just thought I'd share the good news!
