Hey everyone, does anyone have an idea to where I can get my hands on a Green Bismarckia Nobilis? I already have two silver Bismarcks in the back yard and would love a green third bismarck to go inbetween them.  Silver bismarcks are extremely common in my area, you can find them at almost any nursery and home depot. But I've never seen a green one in person! Have yall seen them for sall around you, if so where? If you have any information on them as well, it would be appreciated. Information such as the differences between the silver and the green, the rareness of the palm, and the reason for landscapes having more silver than green.

Green Bizzies are harder to find because there is little demand for them. Green palms are all the same to palm buyers. Silver Bizzies are another category altogether. I have heard green Bizzies are less coldhardy - they lack the protective waxy coatings that make silver Bizzies so spectacular. Otherwise, they are quite similar. If you can't find one locally, consider growing them from seeds next time RPS offers them.
