Question.

I have a couple 5ga Brahea Elegans.   I planted 1 last yr just to get into into not much action yet.

I have a Double I am thinking about putting on my Street Spot in front of house.

I do not know much about this Type of Brahea and Info on web is Sparce.   I have a Super Silver that would go good in that Spot too!

Does anyone know much about this type of Brahea.   Is it a Synonym for something else? Anyone have pics of a large one?

Many info great.   I know there’s some Brahea People out there that love these Fan palms like me.   I’m trying to collect cool ones and spread around my Jungle/Yard.

Have all the common ones, and looking for Cool Hybrids and unusual ones.   And of course the Holy Grail Pimo is always on the lookout.   Maybe one day.

Looks like Decumbens might be growing in same spot as the Elegans.

They're small, about 4 feet across the crown maybe a bit more.

Don't separate them, they don't take that well. At least other Braheas don't.

A very slow growing small Brahea species. They are drought tolerant like most Brahea but appreciate some irrigation. They remain trunkless for many years.
