Trachycarpus Fortunei Var. Nainital Hardiness

For some weird reason the text keeps disappearing, anyway I'm wondering what the Hardiness of Trachycarpus Fortunei Var Nainital Is compared to Regular Fortunei.

Probably the same.  I've haven't seen any empirical data to suggest that there is any difference in cold hardiness.  I'd treat them the same as any other fortunei.

I can say if they are the real deal, then when they are trunking you will visibly see the difference.  Much thicker trunks and extremely stiff fronds that feel like heavy cardboard kind of like a waggie.  They also have a whorled petiole, so they have an asymmetrical appearance.

Here's some nearby me.  Next time I should do a more in depth video.

My Nainital is my hardiest Trachy and my most robust Trachy . It might be my tallest in several more years .  In the second picture you can see last spring's inflorescences , and all the new fiber above it showing that it puts on over a foot of new trunk a year .

I really like it .
