Giant Bird of Paradise or Bird of Paradise?

Strelitzia reginae or Strelitzia nicolai? I know this is not palms, but in the same bracket in terms of what people growing palms like so i posted it here. Thanks!

Strelitzia Nicolai aka Giant White Bird of Paradise.  I have a bunch of them here, they are great down to a little bit below freezing.  One big cluster of them got burned pretty bad in the 25-26F 1 hour blast in January 2018, but it grew back super fast.  You could post non-palm stuff in the "Tropical Looking Plants Other Than Palms" forum here:

That is great news. I thought it was Nicolai as well just needed to confirm with you guys. Time to plant this thing near my banana clump then. Yes i know sorry i have posted here som more in hope of a faster answer, i will use that subform next time.

Don’t know if I’m misunderstanding the topic but the plant on the picture is S nicolai.

its finally in the ground not too far from my bananas  I red these are very fast growers, but how long do they take to get established so they can start growing fast?
