they sat there for the longest time and then I moved them an area where the water stands and they they took off

If it were possible to cross a fan palm and a pinnate palm, that's what I'd expect it to look like!

I have noticed the same with all the types of ptychosperma I'm growing that they are heavy drinkers.  The one you have is awesome I've been trying to Source this palm for a while if you have any leads send me a PM  I would love to have one of my garden thanks for posting this

When ever they seed, don't let them go to waste. Really cool palm.

These are great looking ptychosperma for sure keep me in mind if you ever have any seed it does look different than my ptychosperma schefferi. Thanks for the update

they sat still for a quite a while and now they are beginning to grow more quickly since i am giving them a lot more water
