Potting Dypsis Decaryi and King and Areca Seedlings

Hi,

I'm new here and new to palms.  I live in Utah and owned a large Dypsis several years ago and likely killed it due to my lack of knowledge on how to care for it.  I recently ordered a Dypsis Decaryi from an eBay seller in Florida.  The seller sent what looks like a pretty healthy palm and included several King and Areca seedlings in the package.

These will obviously be kept indoors, but I've got them out getting a bit of sun and a good watering after planting.  Does this look ok for a planting depth and soil?  For the King and Areca seedlings, if there is still a seed attached to the roots, should it be at soil level, or below, and if so, how much below?

Thanks for the help and info!

Eric

Overall, looks OK to my eye.  I typically try to keep the seed under at least a half inch of soil or small wood chips because of birds and rodents.  I lost two small Dypsis decaryi sprouts because the birds yanked them out of the soil only to find out the seed was too big for them to eat.
