Hi, I'm trying to slowly get to know the palms used as ornamentals in my area (Yucatan, Mexico). I'm getting familiar with some of the most famous ones (Adonidias, Dypsis, Roystoneas, Sabals, etc.). I saw this palm yesterday and honestly I have no idea what it could be. Any ideas? It is planted in a commercial area were a lot of Queen Palms are planted also. Maybe a hybrid? Thanks a lot in advance.

Looks like a regular queen to me. I guess the difference between queens planted in parking lots of stores and stuff is that they are never taken care of. Maybe this is just a well taken care of queen palm.

You're right, some of the other Queen palms don't look too happy. It just caught my eye that the leaves don't arch all the way to the bottom of the crown like other queens I've seen and the general appearance isn't as "feathery". Perhaps is a matter of prunning and bad angle. I'll add another picture just to be sure. Thank you @JLM
