The smaller one is finally starting to push out new, healthy fronds.  Another year in the ground and she should be quite the looker.

Great they are rockets!  Next year should be blast off time.  Fertilize and water next year and it will be golden!

Glad to hear that your mules are doing well.  I dug a smaller mule from my yard in San Antonio this past March (1 year from a 3-gal) and planted it here.  It suffered severe transplant shock and spear-pulled after a couple of weeks.  Looked pretty dead for months with the only green on a single leaf petiole.  It just started pushing new growth a week or so ago.  Hopefully it will look more normal next year.IMG_20220819_151845.thumb.jpg.df9e66fe5146b4d5262094bd74069b45.jpg
