I have some white spots on an indoor Coconut Palm. It gets plenty of light. Had it about a year and it's shown loads of new growth. There's no sign of insects and the spots aren't powdery in any way.

Thanks

If there are no signs of bugs, then it could be a mild potassium deficiency.  My notes on that are: older fronds get translucent yellow/orange or dead spots on leaves, especially at the tips. Sometimes tips are curled or frizzled.  Always starts at tips of oldest leaves, moving inwards.

You might try posting photos in the "Palms in Pots" forum.

It’s still in the nut at the bottom. Maybe it’s run out of nutrients and needs to come out?

Don't try to "remove" the seedling from the seed. The seed will detach when it is ready.
