How much hydrogen peroxide do you dump down the heart of a sick palm

I have a sick Bismarckia palm and was wondering how much H2O2 to use

About a half bottle every week or 2 as temps moderate.    Enough to saturate spear area.

I guess it depends on how big it is??? .. Per advice I got here, I dumped 3-16oz bottles on a good size Veitchia... And the results were excellent...

I think that more important than the volume would be the frequency.  I use 4-6 fluid ounces, but apply it every other day for about 8-12 days.  It is also important to monitor closely other aspects of the palm during this weakened condition.  I was sucessful in treating the spear rot,  but eventually lost a Howea forsteriana to an opportunistic rot down among the leaf bases.

wow, I would fillup the hole let it drain a couple hrs and then do it again the first day.  then I would repeat once a week and each time add daconil a few hrs after the peroxide.  Peroxide digests organic material, the rotted material.  Daconil kills fungus more persistently over time than peroxide but the peroxide makes sure that rotted material doesnt prevent contact of living fungus with daconil.  Peroxide loses its potency, it is consumed as it reacts with rotted material, so it offers no protection between treatments.  I use a double dose to start to ensure the removal of the rotted material, but hours apart so the first dose has been consumed and drained down.  Peroxide can work alone, but for the bad infections the two are better than the peroxide alone.  Good luck, looks like it will be difficult.  Keep it up for at least 2 months, every week.
