Can anyone tell me what might be wrong with my buccaneer,  dull green , super skinny not looking so good

probably too wet in that pot or possibly longterm hardness accumulation.  Put it in the ground and watch it polish up.  These do not like rich soil.

That was my first thought too. I think it hates being in a pot long term. Some palms are fine with that, others not so much.
