Was walking around the jungle and noticed some dead fronds on my palm one one is completely dead the next one is 1/2 dead and the one just coming out looks ok that’s the one I circled any ideas

Rhizoctonia solani if older leaves are OK. Perhaps some application of Daconil is advisable just in case a fungal infection is really at play. Have no illusions, if something similar takes place, spear leaf and meristem will eventually die too.

I live in Phoenix and last summer was hotter than hell do you think the heat might have had anything to do with it

Probably not, since it is in the ground. Can not see how heat can affect negatively foliage of a Hyphaena, root ball is a different story though, but it is protected below soil surface.
