I honestly coulda put this under the "wanted" sub topic too - but here's my scenario.

There's a thread on my office palms titled "Show Me Your Palmified Offices," showing off my spindle and my little D. Lutescenses, my (currently struggling $10) P. Roebellini, and a few non palms. My boss knows I'm a palm dude, and he decided to make comments today about how he doesn't get how I'm so into these "seedlings" and these "spiny plants with thorns."

Short of bringing my 5 foot C. Cataractatum out of my apartment or spending a few hundred bucks on a big Kentia that may or may not die in my office, what's a quick and cheap double middle finger to him? (Reasonable) PayPal Ready lol shipped to East Texas.

Plenty of saguaros here in AZ! They actually sell for about $100 per foot or more.Very heavy to move too. We had one in our backyard get blown over from a day of soaking rain - then high wind.Took out a 6 ft tall cement wall.

Bosses can be Jerks sometimes. Even if you get bigger plants he will probably have a different smart ass comment. Unfortunately you probably have to let it slide. We're not allowed to have plants at my work because they could harbor bugs. So at least your lucky in that they let you have plants there.

This thread didn't turn out quite as funny as I thought it was last night.
