I might be turning into Margaret’s biggest fan with the volume of quality seeds + seedlings I’ve gotten from her in the past, but wanted to mention here that I got a bundle of these from her last fall from the same parent tree, and they’ve seriously exploded once they got established. Here are four of the most robust out of the bunch I got. They were just the tiniest little split leaf seedlings when I got them and they’re looking great now! Grew non-stop through the chilly (by FL standards) winter we saw this year. Keep them moist in well-draining but still moisture-retentive soil with an hour or two of direct morning sun only and they will reward you.

Constantly wishing I could still grow zone 10 palms worry-free, but also trying to appease my strange fixation with Washingtonias.

Another update showing how robust these seedlings from Margaret are. I know archies grow fast, but in about 10 or 11 months this one has gone from a single forked leaf to PINNATES!! (Excuse the burn on some of the leaflets - I’d gotten a little too liberal with a malathion application at the sight of some bugs I didn’t really want to keep around, BUT the bugs are gone now so that’s good at least!!)

Mine are nowhere near as nice as yours but hopefully someday soon.

They're fast when the climate is right, and plenty of water.
