I transplanted a large trachycarpus from pot into the ground back end of march, I noticed its only putting out one flower stalk, is this normal?

Not for a large Trachycarpus, that has flowered before.

Mine usually push from about 5 to 12 flower stalks.

But if they are in bad condition it can be less. How does the palm look like ?

It's looking good.  I think there will be more flower stalks following.

When they first flower they can put out only one or a couple. I’ve seen this with mine, totally normal. With time each year you’ll see more if the palm is doing well. I’ve also had them skip a year too.
