Here are a few pictures of my purple pride plum. The plum originated from seed collected from a Guthrie plum (Prunus angustifolia) located in the Stephen F. Austin Mast Arboretum.

I've been growing this burgundy colored plum for a few years now and have been impressed by just how vigorous and drought tolerant it is. The tree has not fruited yet and for those interested, I purchase the tree at rainbow gardens.
