Hi 93˚, Lo 69˚ - thundershowers

Might very well be. Can it get quite big in that container if it is a Butia?

I got this potted on clearance 4 years ago at a big box store.  It was small enough to take home standing up in my Hyundai.  I moved it to a bigger pot after a year.  I'm in zone 7a So the plant stays outside as long as temps are above 20F.  then I wheel it into my (unheated) garage till things warm up.   A couple of times a year on especially windy days I find it on its side.  I was thinking that after a couple of years the 30 x 60 pot might be a bit unstable.
