I didn't get pictures of the parent. These were collected under a dypsis leptocheillos in Hilo so I thought that's what the were but later figured out they were the ubiquitous archontophoenix alexandrae in that area (must've been one nearby), already with silver undersides.

I suppose it's possible it's something else. I would say I'm 95% sure that's what they are, based on appearance of seed and seedlings.
