Yep. Those are king palms. Archontophoenix cunninghamiana. Eastern exposure to full shade only in Phoenix. They absolutely will fry in our full sun.

Thank you!! I think you have said that before I wasn’t sure which king palms they were. You also said they wouldn’t take full sun not much Will as I’m getting more shade I’m starting to think about palms that will grow here but need shade. I also bought a Ravenea rivularis that I believe you said would grow here but not in full sun.

Yes. Both can be grown here for several years but once they get tall enough to receive afternoon sun,fronds will start burning and palm eventually declines. Here's the rivularis,still going strong planted between 2 houses. Started out as a 2 gal HD special...
