Hello everyone!! We got some horrible winds last night and bent a frond and the spear on my queen palm, what do I do with the spear and should I cut the broken frond off?? Thanks!

@John2468 leave it, it'll be fine. I got one from Lowe's a few months ago that had a broken frond and I haven't done anything with it and it's still green. The pic attached is when I planted it, you can see the broken one in the upper right. In the event that it does turn brown you could always remove it

My backyard Queen has a broken frond. The story behind it? Cold damage, when it started growing again in Spring the spear had some damage, as it pushed out the damaged parts that frond was still intact but "broke". I left it like that, it kinda bothers me but more foliage = overall healthier plant.
