Looking for a reliable source of seeds of Butia archeri var. diamantinensis.  I've heard they produce nuts with a taste similar to coconut with stronger flavour notes and leaves a very pleasant and sweet after taste. Can anyone confirm this? Would also appreciate tips on germinating Butia archeri. thanks

The past ... 
"seeds hunter" I bought seeds from a seller.

You can also buy them from websites that sell German palm seeds, but it is unclear whether they will be back in stock.

The seeds definitely had a strong coconut flavor, It also came with a milky taste at the end.

It is quite resistant to cold and has the same germination method as existing Butia seeds.

I have about 3 trees now, and they grow quite slowly.

In my area, there are only very tall Butia palms, so Butia archeri var. diamantinensis. will probably need more observation later.
