Lucky to have a few seeding next door to my old work place up north , collected seeds late last year .

Here is a pic of the base of the 2 month seedling .

I just put 2 seeds in a very large pot , but I chose ones that had signs of sprouts . They are over 1m tall now and approx 9 months old .

Germinated in a 50-50 mix of potting soil and perlite.  They were basically left to the elements in a plastic "Sterilite" (shoe box sized) container with lid.  I would sprinkle some water over them on occassion when they seemed dry, but there were periods in which the medium got bone dry, and very hot.  The container was left in filtered sun.  The other nine seeds still look pretty good, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
