About 20 years ago I planted 3 Sabal mexicanas in sort of a triangle planting with a Syagrus sancona in the center of the three.

The sabals are doing great.  To bad they are not self cleaning.  The syagrus is just a bit taller then the sabals and can just barely be seen sticking out at the top of the picture.

The first picture is from 2009 and the second from today.
