Trachycarpus takil seeds

Hey All,

Anyone have or know of a lead for seeds from a confirmed true takil source? I messaged Rob Larkin and am waiting to hear back but thought I’d see if anyone else has them too.

Thanks!

Some of us bought seeds from him but I've had a few people message me saying they all rotted.  Unfortunately same thing for me.  Not sure what went wrong with them.  Maybe his next year's crop will be viable.

He did reply and said they may be ready in a couple months but it’s a small amount this time around. That sucks about them rotting. I read somewhere, maybe on one of his YouTube videos someone saying the seeds were still green and harvested too early.

Trachycarpus seeds will often ripen when picked green if its not too early.  A bunch of the seeds he sent me were purple or blue.

I suggest Gary Gragg as a source.  Rob's seed went all mushy on me.  Not sure what the issue was, but I know it wasn't on my end because I have tons of experience germinating trachy.
