Disclaimer not my palms.

the royals were in ormond beach and got protection from the oaks above them. Pretty sure that neighborhood is a microclimate.

Christmas palms took a small hit. The bottle palms got fried but already pushing new growth. The foxtail looks great. that house is right near mine where I’m growing some Alexander’s, Christmas and coconuts but I protect mine.

Yeah it looks unfazed. It’s right on the intracoastal waterway though and it has large queens above it, the house near, driveway and road

That’s a good looking Wodyetia. Its holding a lot of fronds and the trunk is fatty. Seem to grow different out here on the left coast.

The Hyophorbe did take a hit. I’m surprised it’s recovering to be honest.

Same thing I thought. When I saw them a week ago I thought they were finally toast. They got burnt last winter too but not as bad.

High oak canopy gives some great protection for sure. I had zero damage on my stuff but my whole property is under canopy. I’m in Port Orange about a mile from the coast. Different story out west of 95 though

What were your temps on that cold night? I think we got to maybe 29, but definitely 30-32 for probably 4-5 hours.
