Its that time of the yr that i have already forgot that we have winters..New hope, new spot...south facing wall, best microclimate in garden, whole day winter sun..digg out for about 1m and replace my soil with pomice and goid soil...on the bottom one brick to keep roots in air, atleast for few yrs, from eventual winter over raining..also heating cable for long winter nights to keep it worm and cozy....hope to see some sirious grow soon with our blazing summers in front of the wall and watering and feeding regulary...

11th I have 2 potted ones. I bring them inside 6 months of the year. I just dread repotting them. Just don't want to kill it.

This was my biggest that didnt survive second winter, one was alive for 5yr and looking ok before winter 2017 that kills it...this is new idea with heating roots...there is only one in Croatia in climate similar like mine that is still alive planted 2003, but still not in good shape after winter 2017 with 3 nights -6C...

two winters later, heating roots with  cables during cool january nights, both are doing fine..

starting to speed up and showing some nice bismarckia colour ☀️
